Returns & Refund Policy

Returns

To arrange a return, you can contact Duncan@mccrerie-guitars.com. We are sorry the if the goods weren’t suitable for you. You are entitled to a replacement or a full refund including standard delivery charges. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you by return shipping details, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted. 

30-day return policy

Which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in original condition with all the original and undamaged packaging and returned within 30 days.

Exceptions

Some items will only be eligible for return unless faulty if the item is sent back completely unused and sealed in its original packaging. Including

  • Strings

  • Such items that may contain liquids such as Guitar Polish etc.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Faulty Goods

If goods become faulty within 28 days of the delivery date we will arrange for a collection and a replacement of goods within the UK. After 28 days and no longer than 12 months we will arrange for the return of the goods to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. Outside the manufacturers guarantee period the purchaser is liable to any repair costs and carriage charges.

All items have to be suitably packaged for transportation.

This policy is invalid if the goods have been altered in any way from their original condition, or if the fault is due to misuse by the purchaser. Goods cannot be returned if any specific defects where pointed out at the point of sale.

 

Refunds

Refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay for them.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
